Pennie

Pennie became a member of Fort Fido today. Pennie is an 8 month-old, 37 lbs., Lab & Border Collie Mix. She quickly discovered our lobby and shortly after made her way into our Medium Dog Program. Once she began to meet other canine friends Pennie opened up and was quite the active pup. She made some awesome friends today and we hope to see Pennie again soon. 🙂

Sidney

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming Sidney to Fort Fido. Sidney is a young 13 week-old, 23 lbs., Black Lab. Sidney entered our front doors and she was curious about this new place she has never been to before. She made her way into our Medium Dog Program and right away was ready to meet others. Sidney began to play and have lots of fun during her stay here while learning some "dog speak." Sidney is a fun and curious puppy, we are looking forward to seeing her some more.

Chipper, Ollie, & Zoe

Today we were greeted by the three Whippet's Chipper, Ollie, and Zoey. These three little rascals entered Fort Fido ready to explore. Once they had arrived and quickly became familiar with our lobby, they made their way back into our Medium Dog Program. Once there, they began to slowly meet the other pups throughout the day. Chipper, Ollie, and Zoey socialized and mingled with the group and we are excited to see them return soon.

Nala

Nala entered Fort Fido comfortably this morning. Nala is a cute 10 month-old Lab/Border collie mix that entered Fort Fido confidently and strolled right into our medium dog program. She has a sister that already attends Fort Fido named Dixie. Within our medium dog program, Nala began to meet the others as they came in throughout the day. She showed good dog speak and began to play with the others after becoming comfortable with her surroundings. Unlike the Naga from Warcraft III, Nala likes to mingle & play with dogs rather than water beings like the Naga. Nala fits in well with the rest of the pups and we, as well as the other dogs, are looking forward to seeing Nala again.

Playful Pippa

Today we had the pleasure of meeting Pippa the playful puppy! Pippa is a 3.5 month-old, 20 lbs., Golden Doodle. She came into Fort Fido confident and ready to rock out. She casually made her way into our Medium Dog Program. Within our Medium Dog Program Pippa met many other pups and began to romp around the entire program. She spent a lot of time playing with Zoey. Independence of Ragnar!

Happy Independence Day! =)

Today we welcomed Ragnar! Ragnar is a young 12 week-old, 20 lb pup. We saw him get out of the car, joyfully making his way into the lobby. After he strolled into our Medium Dog Program, Ragnar realized that he could relax and play here. He played with JoJo, another new Fort Fido pup. Take a peek at their fun below!

- Delightful Daisy -

Today we met the delightful Daisy. Daisy is a 7 month-old, 47 lbs., Goldendoodle. She came in happy with her tail wagging away. As soon as she entered our Medium Dog Program, Daisy knew that she would be able to relax and have fun at The Fort. Shortly after she entered our Medium Dog Program, Daisy met a pup named Zoey. These two immediately began to play about and had a blast. Check out the video below to see the fun.

Sweet Sage

Today we welcomed the sweet Sage. Sage just poked her cute 3 month-old, 19 lbs., Blue Heeler face out of the car and hopped on out. She then came into the Fort and began to meet the other dogs within our Medium Dog Program. Sage was sociable and spent a lot of her time playing with Bonnie, check that out below!

Jaxson, Archie, & Red

Yesterday we welcomed Jaxson. Jaxson is a 125 lbs., 5 year-old, Flat-Coated Retriever. He came into The Fort confidently and made his way into our Large Dog Program. He began to meet the other pups within the Large Dog Program and was cool, calm, and friendly. Jaxson socialized throughout his stay here and we hope to see him return soon.

Today we welcomed two Boston Terriers named Archie and Red. These little rascals came into our Medium Dog Program and were able to meet their look-alike Georgie. As soon as they met Georgie, they immediately saw some similarities in her and began to play. Take a gander below at the fun they had! I'll bet these guys went home happy after their first day.

Hearty Harley

Today we met the hearty Harley. Harley is a 9 month-old mini Ausi. She came in bright, and glowed during her time here. As soon as she began to meet other dogs, she was up there meeting them and playing about with them. Check out below to see her play with Daisy and Hank! =)

Delightful Daisy

Yesterday we had the pleasure of meeting this delightful Daisy. Daisy is a 7 month-old, 30 lbs., Aussie Shepherd / Beagle. This Daisy bloomed as soon as she met another dog, within our Medium Dog Program, as if it were already spring. She hit it off with Frankie and fit right in with the others during her stay. Sister Mary

Today we welcomed an 8 year-old, 53 lbs., Shepherd Terrier Mix named Sister Mary. She seemed as if she were ready to go and meet the others as soon as she arrived for her assessment. Throughout her stay here at The Fort, we had Sister Mary within our Medium Dog Program. She was up and at it socializing with the rest of the pups today and showed some good leadership skills during her time spent here. She spoke with the others well and we look forward to seeing her return for more good times soon.

Lively Lizzy

Yesterday we welcomed the lively Lizzy. Lizzy is a 7 year-old, 37 lbs., English Setter. As soon as she had entered the lobby, she was ready to have a fun day. She strolled forth into the medium dog program and casually sniffed about awaiting for the others to join her. As soon as the others showed up, Lizzy began to play with them. We hope to see Lizzy more for lots of fun with her new friends.

Sebacion, Angus, & Charolett

Sebacion came in happy as can be. He is a 6.5 year-old, 110 lbs., Dogue de Bordeaux. We saw some great socialization along with "dog speak" and we were able to catch a video of this fun guy playing with Daisey & Beckett (See below).

We had the pleasure of meeting the Angus & Charolett duo! Angus is a 17 week-old, 27 lbs., chocolate lab. He joined the pack in medium roll where he mingled about with the others. Charolett is a 12 week-old, 7 lbs., Pomsky (Pomeranian & Husky mix). She began in the small roll today and socialized with the other small pups.

We hope to see them all return soon,

Willow

Not the movie...

But Willow the cute 2 year-old, 55 lbs, lab mix. She entered right into the medium roll and began to meet the others. Willow had her tail straight and was investigating her surroundings. It did take her a little bit to become accustomed to The Fort, but she fit right in.

Cooper & Lexi

 Welcome Cooper! This freckled 2 year-old English Setter weighing at 50 lbs. came into The Fort with gusto. As soon as he began to meet with the pack, Cooper was up and at 'em playing. We were able to catch a video of Cooper with Abby.

On Lexi's first day she entered Fort Fido with investigative eyes. Lexi is a 4 year-old, 8 lbs., Maltese. Lexi did well  for her first day and will be coming back for an extended stay soon. We are looking forward to getting to know this darling little diva.

Sadie

We had the pleasure of meeting the well-mannered Sadie. Sadie is a 3 month-old, 31 pound, Golden Retriever. She elegantly leaped from her car and came through the door with her nose exploring. Sadie then made her way into the medium roll and began to meet the pack. She took her time getting to know the dogs and showed great "dog speak." We hope to see Sadie return soon!

Skadi

Introducing Skadi!
 

No, not the Norse mythological Skadi but this one.

Yesterday we met Skadi. Skadi is a 16 week-old, 33 pound, golden lab puppy. She was ready to go as soon as she had entered the main door. She sniffed about and mingled with the pack. Skadi had a good day here at the fort and we look forward to seeing her back soon.

Nico!

This morning we welcomed miss Nico. Nico is a 1 1/2 year-old, 41 pound, Shepard mix. She got out of the car with her tail up. As soon as she got into the medium roll she began to explore. Nico seemed to enjoyed her time with the pack and we hope to see her return soon.
