Azul & Huck

This morning we had the pleasure of meeting Azul. She is a four-year-old, seventy-five-pound, Chow Chow. Azul hung out in our Large Dog Program where she enjoyed mingling with the other dogs. She had a great first day, and is welcome back any time. We look forward to seeing her again soon.

Huck came in for his assessment yesterday morning. He is a one-year-old, fifty-six-pound, Australian Shepherd mix. Huck joined our Medium Dog Program and had a blast playing with Ollie the Whippet. Huck did a great job and passed his assessment with flying colors. We hope to see him again soon.

Chipper, Ollie, & Zoe

Today we were greeted by the three Whippet's Chipper, Ollie, and Zoey. These three little rascals entered Fort Fido ready to explore. Once they had arrived and quickly became familiar with our lobby, they made their way back into our Medium Dog Program. Once there, they began to slowly meet the other pups throughout the day. Chipper, Ollie, and Zoey socialized and mingled with the group and we are excited to see them return soon.

Whoopee it's Winston!

Winston was in for his assessment today. He is a one year old, thirty-three pound, Black Labrador Retriever / Whippet Mix. What a sharp looking dog, Winston did admirably today, he met all the other Medium Rollers and went straight to playing. What a player he was, he had a great time and we hope he is tired. We are glad that he worked out. Excellent job today Winston! I bet we'll see you around soon. ;)

P.S. Check this out, I found it on dictionary.com. Why are they called "Terriers," Pekingese," and Bluetick Coonhounds?" What a neat little article, I learned a few things from it.
