- Delightful Daisy -

Today we met the delightful Daisy. Daisy is a 7 month-old, 47 lbs., Goldendoodle. She came in happy with her tail wagging away. As soon as she entered our Medium Dog Program, Daisy knew that she would be able to relax and have fun at The Fort. Shortly after she entered our Medium Dog Program, Daisy met a pup named Zoey. These two immediately began to play about and had a blast. Check out the video below to see the fun.

We are looking forward to seeing Daisy return for more action soon!

Have an awesome day,

Delightful Daisy

Yesterday we had the pleasure of meeting this delightful Daisy. Daisy is a 7 month-old, 30 lbs., Aussie Shepherd / Beagle. This Daisy bloomed as soon as she met another dog, within our Medium Dog Program, as if it were already spring. She hit it off with Frankie and fit right in with the others during her stay. Check out some of her play with Frankie below!

We are looking forward to seeing Daisy return for more great times.

Stay happy,
- Zach

Daisy & Ruxin

Yesterday morning we had Daisy come in for her assessment. Daisy is a 7 year-old, 9.5 pound, Shih-Tzu. After entering the front door and sniffing about in the lobby shortly, Daisy made her way up into the small roll. I noticed that after some other pups entered, she was relaxing more. Daisy socialized about yesterday and we hope to see her return soon.
Ruxin investigated Fort Fido today upon his arrival. He is an 8 month-old, 45 pound, Australian Shepard Mix. He was not quite sure, being his first day and all, where he was or what to do. Ruxin soon learned that he could mingling about and socializing was the name of the game here at The Fort. Ruxin will be boarding with us this weekend and he's sure to have a fantastic time.

Enjoy the rest of your day,

Daisy!

This morning we met up with Daisy for her Assessment. She is a nice, seven month old, fifty pound, German Shepherd and Labrador Retriever Mix. We had Daisy try out our Medium Roll, where she really fit in comfortably. She first met Bingley whom welcomed her right in. After meeting Bingley, Daisy had a great time meeting and socializing with the other pups in the medium roll. She had a wonderful time just cruising around and enjoying herself here at The Fort. Daisy is welcome to return and play with her new-found friends in medium roll.

Stay rested and well,

Jax the QT

To cap off a busy week here at Fort Fido, we assessed the extremely-cute, Jax. He is a wiggly, three month old, fifteen pound, brown/apricot colored Labradoodle. This little dude is quite the "heart-melter" lol. We escorted him to the Medium Roll, and although he would have done just fine with the little dogs, we wanted him to get his "socialization on" real proper like, and have him grow into his newly found pack. He needs to watch, listen, and learn, from some of the bigger and wiser canines.

Jax sniffed about the play area happily, just ecstatic about meeting the other dogs he knew would arrive. We had him meet up with the young live-wire, Daisy, first. It happened to be an excellent choice for a first meeting, because the two dogs hit it off in an instant! Hardly getting any "sniffs" in, Daisy and Jax skipped introductions, quickly proceeding to play.

As time passed and the pack grew, Jax continued to "meet and greet" with all of the canines, and play with a few different ones. He did quite well for a puppy, exhibiting pretty darn good canine-communication skills. Jax is here to socialize, burn off some energy, and learn to be a loveable "Dog's Dog"... You know the type, calm and balanced, good with people, and most importantly, good with other dogs. We believe, given time, consistency, and a little help from The Fort, that Jax can check all of the boxes, while becoming a very well rounded adult dog.

Keep up the good work pup-Jax and owners!

Have a relaxing weekend, GO HAWKS!

Your a Daisy if you do

This morning the Fort Fido crew assessed Daisy. She is a four month old, thirty pound, orange and white colored, Beagle Mix. Daisy ventured to our Medium Roll play area where she blossomed. She is the quintessential puppy-dog... Cautious, yet curious, excitable, and full of energy. Here at The Fort, Daisy had a really good time. She is doing well at learning how to speak "Dog", and truly enjoys meeting other canines. Daisy's tail seemed to wag constantly while she socialized with the pack. She even got into some one on one play, with a few different canines. We hope Daisy swings by these parts regularly, given her age, she can get a lot out of Dog Daycare. First rate job today Daisy!

Take care,

-Grant

Time-honored Tibi

This morning we welcomed the "older sister", of Fort Fido Friend, Daisy...

Meet Tibi! She is a gracious, twelve year old, thirty pound, black and tan colored, Mixed Breed. Tibi looks like she could be a mixture of Labrador Retriever, German Shepherd, and quite possibly, Chow Chow. For being an older, or shall I say, "more mature canine", Tibi, seemed surprisingly at ease with her new surroundings. She strolled with us to the Medium Roll, where she entered without much hesitation. Tibi acted cool, calm, and collected, while hanging out with the day's wily young pack. The majority of canines therein, being less than half of Tibi's age. We didn't see a whole lot of play or interaction out of Tibi, but that was to be expected. She's a sweet old gal that's welcome to The Fort anytime. Boy, she sure is a far cry from "little sis" Daisy, and her energy level. Haha!

Cheers,

-Grant
