Good morning, it is a bright and sunny day out today at (a high of) 72 degrees. The pups will want to sunbathe a lot, make sure that they stay cool, hydrated, and happy today! The days are getting warmer as summer comes down the alley, make sure that you keep these dog safety tips in your mind so that your pup continues to stay healthy and happy during this beautiful weather. Gladly The Fort stays nice and comfy for the dogs all-year 'round.

Featuring mostly the Medium Roll, in all of it's fast and furious glory... Lot's of high-paced Lucky, Georgie, Phoebe, Jackson, Cooper, and Cayenne play. You can spot quite a few other colorful characters as well.

Meet young puppy Summer! She is a super-sweet, three month old, thirty-three pound, German Shepherd/Mastiff Mixed Breed. This loving and playful "little" gal did wonderful for us in the Medium Roll. Summer already speaks great "DOG" for a youngin, which made her transition to our play area flawless. Her gentle disposition serves her well, allowing her to make friends and playmates easily. It was a pleasure to have summer at Fort Fido, we look forward to having her here again. Well done!

Elphie had her assessment this morning. She is a one year old, 12 pound, Dachshund mix. Elphie is a wonderful little dog that did super upstairs in the little roll. She has been to daycare before so she's already all about it. Elphie made friends instantly, her favortie pal was Fendi. Score!

Rooney had his assessment bright and early this morning. He is a two and a half year old, 20 pound, Pug. Rooney is a cute little guy who didn't do half bad in the Medium Roll. He ran around some with Bruiser and seemed to enjoy his stay... Rooney's sister Summer came to the fort a few years ago and is starting up again. She is a very nice Yellow Lab that gets along well with the others in the Big Roll.
