Gung ho Gunner!

This morning we assessed the enthusiastic Gunner. He is a ten month old, forty-two pound, Husky, maybe Ridgeback (our guess), Mixed Breed. Gunner stayed with us in The Fort's Medium Roll, and fit in nicely with the other dogs right away. He met up with Logan first thing, and the two hit it off incredibly well. Gunner is a smart young canine, that is all about having a good time, and socializing whole-heartedly with the pack... He's certainly our kind of dog. Good on ya today Gunner, you're welcome to stay at Fort Fido anytime.

Here are three awesome clips of Gunner gunnin' it!

Be well,

Logan lives it up!

We had a real winner show up for their assessment this morning. Meet Logan! He is a cool, seven month old, brindle, Boxer. Logan tried our Medium Roll on for size and thrived. Once there, he instantly took to greeting the pack that arrived. "Play" was the name of Logan's game, and that he did! Logan jumped, ran, ducked and dove all over the play area, with several different playmates. He speaks fairly good "Dog" for a pup, so making buddies was easy for him. Logan really enjoyed Oliver and Zoey's company, among others. We believe he will continue to learn, grow, and have a good time here. Ya never know, he may even graduate to the Big Roll some day.

Here are three wonderful clips of Logan in action.

First-rate job today bud, rest up, cause we shall see you again real soon!

Take care,

-Grant

Hohoho

Scored a great set of photos from friends of The Fort Logan and Hannah. Click on each photo to enlarge.

The twosome was getting all dolled for the Holidays, it sure looks like the groomers did a fine job. Then again, it's easy when you have this much natural beauty to work with. ;)

Later that day, Hannah was caught checking Santa's "Naughty or Nice" list online hahaha.

Logan was telling her, "Look, if you have to check, you ain't on the nice part sis.". Hahaha!

Take it easy this week!

P.S. The pics don't do them justice but these two canines have some luxurious coasts... Ya know why? Cause they are Kumpi dogs of course! :)

Two Logan Pics & Clips

Logan's ma Becky was kind enough to send in some funny photos of the big guy. Here he is posing with his favorite beverage hahaha. Wow, I've heard of a little beer now and again for a dogs coat but I can't vouch for the Irish Whiskey.

Here is a clip from very early in the morning. Beautiful Irish Setter Miura is usually the first one in the Medium Roll. When she is the first dog in, her and Nancy love having one on one ball time together.

It's official! Chloe and Pearl have "Busted Out" (AKA began to act like pack members, really interacting and playing.) there is no stopping these two pups now, everyday will be fun filled for them in the Little Roll.

Medium Roll pooch Madi has also been branching out and doing well. Here she takes on Boxer Boy Zeus for some excitement.

Have a nice weekend,

-Grant
P.S. No, Logan doesn't really drink whiskey... Don't worry! Fort Fido, LLC does not condone giving your dog alcohol. Heck, our pets don't even get table scraps! ;)

Oops! & Two great pics!

On Yesterdays post, I forgot to mention another member of the "Luther Pack" that attended The Fort regularly until her passing. Doh! My apologies for not mentioning you Miss Gracie. She was one heck of a dog, one of the oldest The Fort has ever had in the Big Roll. Although she was sort of on her "last legs" when she started, she was extremely sweet and did surprisingly well with the pack.

In other news... Hannah and Logan's ma sent me in two great pictures this morning. The pups just had their very first beauty parlor day hahaha. Don't they look sharp? Hannah's face is priceless and Logan looks to be his charming self, as usual!

Cheers,

-Grant
P.S. As always, email us those awesome pics of your Fort Fido dog. We like to collect them and love putting them up on our blog.

A couple of pics, a couple of clips.

Logan lounging with his main pal!

I would have never guessed Logan needed "readers" lol reminds me of some Fort Employees. ;)

Logan's ma Becky sent me these snazzy pictures of her main man. They are great, thanks for sending them in Becky!

Scored two good clips of Blue and new Bulldog Zora playing together in the Big Roll. Have a look.

Take a look at Logan

Logan is a friendly guy that had his assessment this morning. Logan's a four month old, 40 pound Golden Retriever. I'd say he is a typical Golden and that is a good thing! Logan is happy go lucky, he made doggie friends easily and is very playful. He'll be a great addition to the Medium Roll, although he may go to the Big Roll as he grows, he could turn into a pretty good sized dog! Nice job today Logan.

Stay cool everybody,

-Grant
P.S. This news snippet had me cracking up, take a gander. :)
