-Salutiferous Stasha-

We were delighted to assess the ever-so-clever "Stasha" this morning. She is a rowdy, five month old, thirty-five pound, Siberian Husky. Miss Stasha stayed with us in our Medium Roll. At this time, the Medium Roll, is flush with young, high-energy, and good-time having canines. So for the time being, the Medium Roll is extremely fitting for Stasha. She truly loved her stay here at The Fort today, and got a lot out of it! The bright and striking Stasha, played hard with many different pack members. Taking a rather special liking to Sierra, Chance, and Shadow, among others. Stasha is welcome to attend Fort Fido anytime. We hope to visit with her again soon! The clips that follow, show a bit of Stasha in her element.

Take care,

-Grant

The Shadow Knows

Meet Shadow! Now fortunately for us, he isn't anything like the once popular comic character, he is much more easy going, happy, and fun lol. Shadow is a two year old, thirty-five pound, black colored, Labradoodle. He had his assessment today in the Medium Roll, and is staying with us for Overnight Boarding. Shadow is a very nice dog that has been socialized well. He is the younger "dog brother" of Fort Fido Friend Chance... The two make an extremely amusing and striking duo, due to their cheerful personalities and contrasting colors. Shadow is doing well with the pack, and has been enjoying his stay since early this morning, playing quite a bit with Gracie and Yuki, among others. Keep up the first-rate work there Shadow, you are doing great.... O, and Chance, keep an eye on him would ya? Thanks! Haha.

Cheers,

-Grant
P.S. A special congratulations goes out to Teresa & Dennis on their new marriage! Hooray!

1 big 2 med

Here are a couple of good ones from the Medium Roll. The first is of Barkley and Mimi egging on Miss Phoenix, very funny! Although it looks a bit "wild" in this clip, they are all buddies. The second clip shows Bella and Gibby having some fun while Chance and Lucy do the same in the corner. It sure was a good medium group today.

Our last clip is a bit of neck fighting from the Big Roll this morning. It features Boxers Stella and Sam rolling around with Black Lab Truman.

Elated Emily!

We welcomed a happy-go-lucky new pup to The Fort this morning. Say hello to Emily. She is a ten month old, forty-seven pound, Black, Labrador Retriever.

Emily passed her assessment with flying colors! She came in eager to play and had a very sweet disposition. With a spirited temperament, Emily frolicked in the Medium Roll. She took on all the dogs but especially liked Niko and Chance. Emily played hard, was very social and communicated well with the others in the pack. We are happy to have her and plan on seeing her again soon. Nice job!

Take it easy,

Starting the week...

With a clip from the Medium Roll.

Here we have Barkley and Chance (sporting a new short hairdo) engaging. These two are sure buddies and what healthy play they are exhibiting in this one, very fair and balanced. Good stuff you two, just the way we like it around here.

From the Big Roll you see Happy and Buddy exchange "hugs" lol.

Happy Monday!

P.S. The band and I made it on to the TV again... Here is the link , we show up 7:25 minutes in, you can fast forward to it. :)

- Great Clips -

Lucy and Chance are a whirlwind in this clip from the Medium Roll.

Here we have some "Ahhh cute!" neck-fighting going on in the Big Roll. It's Bella, Buddy, Hektor & Ryker.

Normally I do not like to post the bad news but since it's local (from King 5)... Dog left alone for months in basement could soon be rescued. Geez, I sure hope so!

Here's an article (and video) with some happiness! :)

Take it easy,

First Chance!

Chance had his assessment this morning. He is a five month old (almost), 16 pound, apricot-colored Labradoodle. Chance had a fun time, he was introduced to the Medium Roll and romped around pretty hard. Chance is really getting some nice socialization. He will be a wonderful addition to The Fort and we plan on seeing him often.

Have a great day,

-Grant
P.S. Here's a good one for you: Missing dog found after seven years!
