Clip it up!

From today's ruckus rolls... All kinds of fun!

In the Big Roll, we had "Ollie" being the usual clown with his buddy Jasper. Theodore had a great time, along with Brix, Jackson, Gage, and many others.

From the Medium Roll, we have a nice clip of "Bogart" and Yuki running amok.

Upstairs in the Little Roll Play area, Miguel, got the whole pack to party down... She also has a couple of "boyfriends" in Buckwheat and Rusty lol!

Be well,

Tactful Tucker

Alrighty, this is Tucker... He is a good looking, six month old, forty-eight pound, black and tan colored, Doberman Pinscher. Tucker had his assessment the other day, and he did a fantastic job hanging with our pack. This young pup has already socialized with quite a few dogs, and has had several visits to the dog park. Although new to the "Daycare Scene", Tucker appears to be warming up to it nicely. He's been meeting and greeting others in the Big Roll pack, but hasn't done tons of playing just yet.

He was in today, and lucky for all, really began to get in the mix. Tucker ended up having a wonderful play session with Fort regular, Gage, during "naptime". It was rather enjoyable to watch Tucker get into his comfort zone and "bust out" a little. He did a lot more today compared to his first visit... And that's ok, first days can be a bit overwhelming.

You can see a bit of Tucker and Gage's interaction in the following clips:

Tucker is becoming a great addition to Fort Fido. He's always welcome, and we may be seeing him regularly. Those "un-cropped Dobie ears" are so darn cute too lol.

Verdurous Violet

Meet Miss Violet! She is a nine month old, sixty-four pound, Golden Retriever. This adventurous gal had her assessment this morning. A dog park veteran, Violet is already fluent in "dog speak", and loves to socialize. Violet is also a non-stop player, she really enjoyed our Big Roll, where she romped with Beau and Gage, among others. We were lucky enough to score a nice clip of her and Gage in action, take a look...

Violet is one fun canine that is welcome back to The Fort anytime. We look forward to her next visit. Excellent job today girl!

Cheers,

A Few Clips

Last night's Overnight Boarding twas a "Boxer Love Affair"... With none other than Gage and Liberty, having fun throughout the night. Cute stuff!

The Medium Roll today was fast and furious! Keeping the steady pace, was Bob Marley and Sahale, among several others.

Last but not least, a nice shot from the Big Roll. Nonstop "Golden Play" from the dynamic duo, Baer & Diego. As you can see, Brutus, was left only to "referee".

LOL!

Take it easy,

Short but Sweet

Checkout these three beauties resting in a patch of sun... Actually, they are a few of our most rough and tumble male Big Rollers lol! Here they're taking a rare break from the action. Gage, Theodore, and Zipper, three dapper dogs, one great photo op.

(Click Photo To Enlarge)

Get a load of new puppy-boy Bob Marley "Jammin" with the wild and wonderful Sahale in the Medium Roll.

Max was getting in the mix as well.

All for now folks, cheers,

Tron: the legacy continues!

Today we got to meet Tron the Greyhound. He was born and bred to race. Luckily enough he was rescued into a great home and he now lives the leisurely life as a lovable pet, and at 3 and 1/2 yrs old, he is a seasoned doggie daycare attendee. Not too quick to jump into play, he nosed around the large roll speaking good dog and really took a shining to Gage the boxer.

Generally Greyhounds are very quiet. However if they are unhappy, they will announce it by howling. Multi-Greyhound homes are sometimes serenaded by a group chorus, or 'rooing' just for the sheer joy of it.

Fun Fact about Greyhounds! They tend to sleep with their eyes wide open!!

Gallant Gage

Gage is a strikingly handsome, three year old, seventy-five pound, brindle & white colored, Boxer. This well mannered guy stayed in The Fort's Big Roll this morning. Gage is a very nice and well behaved dog. Although he didn't play a lot, he did interact with various members of the pack. We will chalk this day up to a "warmup" for Gage. We are almost certain that he will begin to play more, given time. Gage is without a doubt welcome to come to Fort Fido. Hopefully, we will get to know him even better.

Unfortunately, this clip isn't Gage in action. However, it does show pup Great Dane Theodore having tons of fun with "Big Woman" Athena. You can spot Gage in the background though! :)

Take care,

-Grant
