Teddy

Yesterday we has the pleasure of meeting Teddy. This Eddie look-alike is a 5 year-old, 15 lbs., Italian Greyhound / Yorkie Mix. Teddy came in cool and confident, ready to take on whatever this new adventure may bring. He made his way up and into our Small Dog Program and spent his day exploring the play area while meeting other pups.

We look forward to seeing Teddy return for some more fun times soon,

Teddy

Today we had Teddy in for his Assessment. He is a smart, three year old, twenty-eight pound, Pug. This handsome little fella came into The Fort ready to go. Teddy ventured with us to the Medium Roll where he entered with ease. Throughout the morning, Teddy putted around the play area, seemingly happy being in the company of the pack. Teddy socialized with the other canines quite well, and acted as if he'd been here many times before. He was a true gentleman lol! Although he didn't get into too much play, we believe he will in future visits to Fort Fido. Outside of here, Teddy, is good buddies with longtime Fort Regular, Jack. Nice going today Ted, we'll see ya tomorrow!

- Tenacious Teddy -

 

Today was Teddy's assessment day. He is a friendly, two year old, seven pound, white, grey, and brown colored, Shih Tzu/Miniature Poodle Mix. Teddy entered Fort Fido with wonder and courage. He marched upstairs to the Little Roll, where he met with Gibson and Seamus right away. Teddy speaks quite good "DOG". That skill, gave him the ability to fit into our pack quickly and easily, which he certainly did. Teddy mostly just hung out with the play group and enjoyed himself. Teddy's gleeful-tail wagged often, as he mingled with the other canines. He chased a few toys around, and generally had a fun time. We are thrilled to know that Teddy will be back into The Fort soon... It looks as though he'll be giving our Overnight Boarding a go.

Although we weren't able to catch Teddy in any major "one on one play", you can spot him towards the end of this little "cross-section" clip.

Teddy is an extremely friendly and loving Vizsla that has been coming to Fort Fido for some time now. In this clip, Teddy is having a fun time romping around with Cooper.

Chewy!

There is no doubt that this morning's assessment was a winner. The delightful Chewy started today and he did excellent! I'm partial to Aussie's and Sheltie's so that definitely helped him hahaha... He is a Tri-colored, Miniature Australian Shepherd mix, 28 pounds and eight months old. My guess is that the mix is Shetland Sheepdog but who knows? Check out some clips of Chewy below, he fell in love with our little Boston Terrier mix Sofee, she can give any dog a run for it's money!
