Louie & Lobo

We've been "busy bees" around here as usual... Louie and Lobo, are The Fort's latest recruits.

Yesterday we assessed Louie. He is a smart, six month old, forty pound, Pit Bull Terrier Mix.

This morning we met up with Lobo for his Assessment. He is a sharp looking, one year old, thirteen pound, Yorkiepoo.

Both Louie and Lobo did well here, and are welcome to attend Fort Fido anytime. Nice job fellas!

"Ruby with the eyes that sparkle"

This morning we had the pleasure of assessing the ever-so-cute Ruby. She is a sweet, four month old, twenty-five pound, Vizsla. We wasted no time introducing Ruby to the Medium Roll. Once there, she got to meet and greet with new fun-loving pups Logan and Oliver... Those two, among others, proved to be an awesome match for Ruby throughout the morning. Ruby is doing a fine job at learning how to speak "Dog" and socialize. She is the perfect age for learning, and she's at the perfect "school" for learning, that being The Fort of course! We believe Ruby is going to grow into a very healthy and well-rounded canine. She is definitely welcome here anytime. Kudos to her owner for doing right by her!

P.S. Also, Ruby just so happens to be the "niece" of Fort Fido regular Louie, cool stuff.

Scoutin' it out!

This morning we were excited to assess Scout. She is an eight month old, thirty-eight pound, brown and brindle, Labrador Retriever/ Bavarian Mountain Hound Mix. Now Scout is a very nice dog that is very sociable. She took to the Medium Roll with ease, and it was truly a perfect fit for her. Scout played a bunch with several different members of the pack, taking quite a liking to Georgie and Louis, among others. We are thrilled to have Scout amongst our ranks here at The Fort. We are also happy for her owners, they have scored a great canine companion. She's certainly welcome here anytime. First-rate job today girl!

- Lively Louie -

Today we assessed Louie early in the AM. He is a fifty-eight pound, tan and white, Border Collie Mix. Louie hung out in the Medium Roll today and truly thrived. He communicates with other dogs well, it looked like he enjoyed himself. Louie is most definitely welcome back to The Fort. We think he'll be back in to mingle with the pack soon!
