Amelia, Baxter, & Deja

Yesterday we met Amelia and Baxter. Both Amelia and Baxter are pug/poodle mixes about 12 years old and 16-pounds. After they entered the small roll I noticed that they spoke good dog and were relaxed while they spent their day mingling with the pack.

Today we met the early bird Deja. She is a 7 year-old, 19-pound, Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix. She made her way up into the small roll and was exploring about. Soon after exploring the small roll she began to socialize with the pack and enjoyed her time here.

We hope to see Amelia, Baxter, and Deja for more fun times,
- Zach

Bold Baxter!

Meet Baxter! He is a one year old, sixty-two pound, brown and white colored, Boxer Mix, that had his assessment today at Fort Fido. Baxter entered our Big Roll Play Area cautious, yet curious. He wasn't quite sure what he was here to do at first. That was until he started to meet the other canines. Right away, Baxter seemed to hit it off with Jackson and Jesse. As the pack grew in size, he continued to roll about enjoying the day here at The Fort with the fellow pack members. Baxter had an extremely great time playing with Tucker as seen in the videos below.
Below, Baxter rumbles about with Tucker, and Lucy.

We are excited to see Baxter return and make even more great friends here at Fort Fido.
Have an awesome day and stay dry,
- Zach

three rolls three clips

First from the Little Roll... Baxter and Nugget have a go at playing.

In the Medium Roll, Jack and Niko became best buddies today.

Last but certainly not least, in the Big Roll, old man Hanky takes on young buck Briggs. Unfortunately we were unable to edit out a Lulu poo in the background... This video clip was too good, so we let it go. Sorry lol. ;)

Cheers,

Welcome Baxter

This morning we assessed Baxter. He is a six year old, nineteen pound, brown Dachshund. As a young pup, Baxter was a doggie daycare regular in Seattle. Now he is giving daycare another go here at The Fort. He headed upstairs to the Little Roll and did well. Baxter greeted the pack and browsed around, his tail wagged as more dogs came in, he seemed to enjoy himself. We hope to seem him start interacting more soon. Nice job today Baxter!

Cheers,

-Grant
