Happy Memorial Day!

Today we welcomed Pablo to The Fort. He is a 1 year old, 65 pound, black/white Pit Bull mix. Pablo did great for his first day, he came in this morning full of energy and ready to play.

In this clip Pablo is playing with Bella the boxer in the large roll. Also in this clip are Bonnie the Labrador Retriever Mix and Diego the Golden Retriever.

Have a great Memorial Day,
- Gary

Big Sis Bonnie

Last week, The Fort Fido Crew got to meet up with Little Dog Eddie... This week, we got the pleasure of meeting Eddie's "older sister", Bonnie. Bonnie is a mature, fourteen old, sixteen pound, Affenpinscher. This cute little old gal, didn't do half bad here in the Small Dog Play Area. She putted around with her little brother a bit, and seemed fairly comfortable with our place. Bonnie really didn't get too rowdy, or into any play, however, that was kind of expected given her age. She communicates with other canines well, and handled the pack, and it's energy, without a care. I also think being with Eddie, gave her some comfort and normalcy as well. Bonnie is a sweet dog, that is more than welcome to attend The Fort anytime. All for now!

Take care,

-Grant
P.S. The Affenpinscher, is a really neat breed that we don't see too often, learn a bit more about them here.

A Bonnie Lass...

This morning we had Bonnie in for her assessment. She is a nice, four year old, sixty pound, honey, black and white colored, Labrador Retriever Mix. Bonnie hung out in Fort Fido's Big Roll. In there, Bonnie did ok for a first day... Lately, she has moved around a lot, so she wasn't quite sure what was going on here this morn. An Overnight Boarding and Dog Daycare regular, Bonnie, was very even tempered and comfortable within the pack, once a bit of time passed. We plan on seeing Miss Bonnie again soon, and we hope that she will become even more comfortable here.

Be well,

-Grant
