Rollicking Rufus

Meet Rufus! He is a three year old, eighty pound, Tick Hound Mix, that had his assessment this last Saturday. Now Rufus did absolutely superb. He is a wonderful dog, with a great attitude. Rufus is extremely fluent in "Dog Speak", and showed off his canine-communication-skills with ease. He has attended Dog Daycare before, so fitting in with the pack at Fort Fido was not a problem. Throughout the day, Rufus exhibited solid and fair play. He "jammed" with several different dogs, including Diego, which became one of his favorites. Rufus, you are welcome to stop by The Fort anytime, and we certainly hope that you do!

Here's Rufus & Diego, playing well together in the Big Roll.

Have a nice President's Day,

Rufus The Lion

(Click Photo to Enlarge)

It's a bit hard to see in this pic but Rufus the Doodle got an extraordinarily awesome new hairdo lol! He asked for and received the "Lion Cut", although in this pic he looks more like a Camel because his Buddie's head blends in behind him looking like a hump haha.

Here is a clip of the lion-heart in action, of course, Marco Polo, has to make sure he is still "King of the Jungle". ;) He, among others, really enjoys Rufus's company due to his outstanding temperament.

Cheers,

A welcome to Rufus!

Rufus came in for his assessment this morning. He is a one year old, sixty-six pound, red, Standard Poodle. Rufus is a long legged fellow, one of his nick names happens to be legs! He is a very handsome dog that went right to the Big Roll. Rufus greeted the pack and for his first day he didn't do half bad. Once he gets to know everybody, we think he will be interacting more. Good job Rufus!

Have a good start to your week.

-= Oodles of Doodles =-

Three striking Golden Doodles, Brady, Roxie and Rufus sprang into The Fort this morning for their assessments. Four year old Brady, the oldest of the three, seemed eager to meet the pack. Roxie and Rufus are seven month old litter mates, each did well with Brady in the Medium Roll. Rufus was enthusiastic and could not wait to get started. His sister Roxie was reserved at first but did manage to make some friends. All in all the Doodle trio did fantastic, we will be seeing them again soon!

Cheers,

-Grant
