Jack

Today The Fort's crew met up with Jack for his Assessment. He is a gorgeous, nine year old, ninety pound, Dutch Shepherd. Jack is experiencing some household changes, so he is here to get out some energy... In turn, this should aid him in staying more calm and balanced at home.

 Jack entered into our Big Roll without a hitch. We had him get his bearings in the play area for a bit, before introducing him to Big Boy Bounce! The two XL canines exchanged sniffs and kept fluid bodies while greeting. It was really a "text book" dog meeting, healthy, and great to see. It's clear that Jack enjoys socializing and playing with other dogs, apparently he is a Dog Park regular too, good stuff. As the day went on, Jack got to meet the rest of the Big Pack, and continued to do well within it. He played a lot and stayed quite entertained during his whole visit. We'd like to welcome Jack to Fort Fido, swell job today boy, we'll see ya again soon.

Black as Koal

Meet Koal, he is a handsome, two year old, seventy-nine pound, Black Labrador Retriever. Koal had his assessment at The Fort early this morning, and did well. A high-energy and happy fella, we had him get started in our Big Roll Play Area right away. Koal was very excited to meet with the other canines, as they rolled in throughout the morning. He is a very social dog, so meeting and greeting proved to be no problem for him... Koal made pals with several different canines, within minutes. He played really hard with, and particularly liked, Bounce. The two dogs played together, off and on, for the whole duration of Koal's visit. Koal is most welcome to hangout with us at Fort Fido anytime. Nice job today bud!

Busy Bella

Fort Fido had Bella in for her Assessment this morning. She is a two year old, forty-four pound, Black Labrador Retriever Mix. This strong and confident young dog-gal, did a great job inside of The Fort's Big Roll. After taking a few quick laps around the play area, Bella was ready and willing to meet the pack. She first met with the friendly Bounce, and the two hit it off into play quickly. As time passed and the Big Roll's Pack grew, Bella, continued to speak pretty good "Dog", and most importantly, continued to get along with the other canines. Once Mr. Reilly showed up onto the scene, Bella was "In Love" lol. These two really got to playing fiercely! We were even lucky enough to catch a video clip of the action.

Bella is a busy and hard-playing dog, however, she is also quite sweet, and socializes very well with others. We're happy to have her here and look forward to her return. Well done Bella!

Bounce a la Carlos!

Carlos struck again with another rad piece of artwork! This time he captured Bounce, who had been staying with us for Overnight Boarding last week. Way to go Carlos, thank you!

Bouncing...

 

This morning we assessed Bounce! He is a lovely, one year old, 125 pound, Bernese Mountain Dog & Black Labrador Retriever Mix. Bounce is a well mannered and handsome fellow who took to the place quickly. He really did a swell job inside of The Fort's Big Roll, meeting, greeting, and having a good time with all. This benevolent canine was right at home here with the pack. We plan on seeing him again very soon for some Overnight Boarding... We have a feeling that Bounce will think of his stay as a real treat. Way to go pal, see ya soon!
