This morning we had the pleasure of assessing Nina. She is a seven year old, sixty pound, silver colored, Weimaraner. Lucky for us, Nina, has been a long time Dog Daycare and Overnight Boarding attendee, at facilities in and around Seattle... Making her a versatile dog, that is more than comfortable around a pack. She has a calm and mature disposition, akin to our Ginger of the Big Roll. Nina did great in the Big Roll play area, where she pretty much acted as though she'd been here times before. This sweet gal didn't play a whole heck of a lot, however she did "meet and greet" with the other canines healthily. Nina meandered bout the play area, socializing and getting familiar with her new surroundings. She is one neat dog that is welcome to hangout at The Fort anytime. Wonderful job today Nina! We hope to see you again soon.
Cheers,
-Grant

Jethro Tull...
Ok, no, just "Jethro" lol!
Jehtro's a handsome, three year old, sixty pound, gray colored, Weimaraner, who had his assessment this morning. A highly-social and athletic canine, Jethro, took to the Big Roll with excitement and ease. He has great canine-communication skills, and makes friends effortlessly. Within minutes, Jethro was playing hard with several different dogs. We are quite pleased to have Jethro here today, he makes a wonderful addition to the Big Roll's pack.
Super job today Jethro, we will see ya around!
Checkout these two fun clips of Jethro having a blast here today... He really took a liking to Stasha, among others.
Be well,
-Grant

Howdy to Howie from Florida
Super-Handsome-Canine Howie had his assessment today. He is a three year old, ninety pound, "Grey Ghost" AKA Weimaraner.
Howie hails from the sunny state of Florida and has attended dog daycare in the past. A fine specimen, he did pretty well for his first day, even mixing it up a little with Fort Fido Bad Boy Ryker (not really "bad", you know what I mean lol...). Howie seemed pretty comfortable in our Big Roll and we hope he'll continue to improve his "Dog Skills" as he gets used to the place. See ya soon Howie, nice job!
Cheers,
-Grant

Terrific Taylor

Checkout this happy go lucky pooch! We had him in for his assessment this morning. Taylor is a two year old, 60 pound, Weimaraner, rescue dog. He did well for his first day in the Big Roll. His owner wants to better his doggie social skills and etiquette, we think he is on the right track. Way to go! Taylor we'll be attending The Fort again soon.
Take it easy,
-Grant

Old buddies
The Fort received an awesome email from it's old pals (that moved to Arizona) Brooklyn and Bentley. They even sent us pictures! Brook and Bent are a couple of beautiful Weimaraners and really great dogs. The duo played hard in the Big Roll and visited us often, I chuckle when remembering their antics and super strength. Just a note, Weimaraners are amazing dogs that don't miss a thing but aren't for the non-active hehe!
Thanks again for the pictures.
Cheers,
-Grant
