  Yesterday morning we met this little guy for his assessment. He's a two year old, fourteen pound, rescued Shih-poo . It didn't take long for this little guy to venture off and make some new friends once we introduced him to our Small Dog Program. I loved how spunky and energetic he looked when he played. He sort of hopped around our play area like he had springs in his legs. 

Check him out playing with two of our current boarders: Hudson, and Sherman. 

 

We're looking forward to seeing Beau again.

Sherman & Sergeant

On Tuesday we welcomed Sherman. Sherman is a 14 lbs., 2 1/2 year-old, Chihuahua / Bisingi mix. He came into The Fort with confidence and made his was into our Small Dog Program. Once there, Sherman began to meet the other pups as they came throughout the day and seems to have enjoyed his time with us.

Sergeant Major joined us on Wednesday. Sergeant Major is a 4.5 month-old, 39 lbs., English Lab. He came into Fort Fido's front door with gusto and immediately wanted to go and meet some friends. Sergeant joined the other pups within our Medium Dog Program and played about with the others. We were able to catch a video of Sergeant playing with Sage, check it out below.

Lucy & Sherman

Yesterday morning I had the privilege of meeting Lucy. Lucy is a 2 year-old 50-pound Australian Shepherd Mix. I noticed that she had a young and playful aura about her so we had her start out in the medium roll where she played around and socialized with the rest of the pack. Take a peek at the video we caught of Lucy, Walter, and Petey.

Sherman entered The Fort for his assessment today. Sherman is a 10 month-old, 75-pound, labradoodle. He was cautious as he first entered the large roll but I noticed that as more dogs came he began to socialize and relax. After a few more dogs entered, Sherman began to play with Brix and let loose his inner fun as part of the pack. Watch the clip below. =)
