Howdy Tilly!

Meet Tilly, she is a one year old, twenty-five pound, Grey/White, Miniature Schnauzer that had her assessment this morning.
She is a charming little dog that has attended dog daycare in the past. Tilly hung out in our Medium Play Area and did alright for her first day. We hope that she will get more comfortable and engage in some play with the pack after a few more visits. Nice job today Tilly, we look forward to seeing you again soon!

Take it easy today,

Handsome Hanz

This morning we assessed Hanz. He is a four year old, fourteen pound, salt and pepper colored, Miniature Schnauzer. Hanz didn't do half bad for his first day upstairs in the Little Roll. He played a little bit while scouting the area and meeting all the dogs. We hope to see Hanz "bust out" and interact even more... We have a feeling he will and he'll get his chance because he is coming back to Fort Fido soon!

Have a great weekend! I got leaves to rake lol...

O Sadie Sue

Everyone at the fort was impressed this morning. Sadie Sue the silver/white Miniature Schnauzer had her first day and did well. Her owner explained to us that she may not make the cut. As a young dog she was socialized, played great with others. At around three years old Sadie was attacked quite brutally by a large dog and has been wary of other dogs since.

We were a bit unsure how Sadie would acclimate, if at all, but she thrived this morning. Despite the past incident she seemed to enjoy herself as more dogs arrived. It is wonderful to see a sort of rehabilitation and the calming/balancing effects the pack can sometimes have on a skittish dog. Sadie Sue is six years old, 20 pounds, very pretty and mature.

Take care,

-Grant
